8/17 National thrift shop day.

Hello all.  Sorry I have been away. But I’m back.

Tomorrow is national thrift shop day!   How many of you have been in a thrift shop?  I am an avid thrift shopper and I have found some fantastic deals.

Deal one: vintage Dooney & Bourke handbag. Cost: $11 value: $50

Deal two: Tory Burch top. Cost: $13 value $165

Deal three: Nambe serving bowl. Cost $5 value $150

Tell me about your fabulous finds.  I have missed you!

I am from Oklahoma. Now living the dream in Arizona. I'm a sassy, creative and outspoken southern gal. I believe that if you can read you can go anywhere. One of my favorite sayings is "If you knew you could not fail what would you do?" I enjoy helping other people. My friends know that I’m the queen of useless trivial knowledge and I will not hesitate to use it.

Love love love thrift stores. I got a Vera Bradley small purse for 4.00…..perfect shape and I love it! Most of my furniture is either rummage sale, thrift store or pieces owned by grandparents or uncles and aunts. Love the history of these things!
