Getting rid of the books is always the most difficult for me, but I’ve been doing pretty good lately. This will remind me I can do better!

Agree it is hard but are you the person who reads them again? I am so into libraries. When I travel I take a book that I own and leave it for the next person to enjoy.

I actually started using our local library as part of my desire to cut down on the books in the house. It’s going great so far. Now, I just need to finish going through the old books and get rid of those!

Outstanding. I love going to the library. All the options and no commitment. If I don’t like the book I can just return it. LOL.

Exactly! I don’t feel obligated to read the book, because I didn’t pay anything for it. Plus, now I can renew books online, so it is less likely I end up with a late fee.

Me too. I find that I am willing to try new authors also.

386 paperbacks to the local friends of the library…47 plane and train magazines to the local museum of transportation…five woolen blankets to salvation army….5 end tables that had been in the barn for three years to a resale shop, 5 boxes of chachkees to a second hand shop, and four trash bags of old newspapers, torn books and magazines and worn out sheets into the bin! yes, the hubby was working overtime and I got loose in his junk! It’s been a week and he hasn’t even noticed yet!
