Do you spend lots of time in the car? How many miles do you log running to pick up the kids? How long is your commute to work?
Have you heard of the Golden Triangle?
Golden Triangle is the distance between work, school, and home.
Organize your life within those. You will find that if you can work within the golden triangle you will save time and money.
Plan out your trips if you need to go the grocery store, dry cleaner, gas station try to map it out and make the most of your trip. By combining as much as possible you will find savings.

We live in a small town and we really try to make the most of every trip we make into Phoenix. Also, I take a cooler with me to put chocolate or food items in. We are already experiencing temperatures over 85 degrees and believe me when I say chocolate does not do well in the car unless they are in a cooler. Don’t even get me started on ice cream.

Thanks Pamela!
Exactly! The times in between commute can be put to better use indeed. While we do not have the drive commute, the times on the train could be used for : 1. catching 40 winks if you have a seat, 2. reading the papers, 3. catching up on social media…while not the same as getting the groceries done, it’s still harvesting the best out of our the Golden triangle!

Thanks so much. I wanted so much to live in a place where I could take public transportation. I think so much could be done in that commute time. Lucky!

LOL. We on the other hand want to live in a less crowded location! Jamming and jabbing your way through a packed supermarket at 6pm ain’t our liking! LOL
