Are you ready to throw down the gauntlet?
Are you still struggling with how to start getting organized?

Do you feel overwhelmed by clutter?
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to determine where to start. Looking around your home you know there is clutter. Where do you start, should it be in the Kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom or how about the kid’s room? It can be overwhelming and so you just don’t do anything.
I’m here to tell you that you can add control to your chaos. You will find that if you are organized it will make you feel so much better when you walk in the door of your home. More importantly, when you leave you can find your keys. Knowing where things are will save you time. More time that you can spend with your family or just doing something that you enjoy.
Here is the deal. It doesn’t matter where you start.
Today I am going to help you kick start the process of decluttering.
“Big things have small beginnings” Prometheus
This is a super easy way to start. Are you ready?
Take the 3 Things Challenge:
Go running through your home and grab THREE things that you don’t need and throw them away. Pick any room and any three things.
Run now, run like the wind.
PS – Do not trip over your cat, dog or guinea pig.
Also, do not throw away your pets-unless they are of the rock variety.
Do this once a week. Small steps have big results.
Ta-Da! You have now started and you can Bee Organized.
Tell me what did you throw away today?

Hi, I do this with my garage 15 min a time, nearly finished and it works great, this way I keep calm, and I really don’t have the time to give it a full morning or day, but a few more goe’s and it will be finished. Great advice

You are on the right track. I always recommend sitting a time limit. Otherwise you burn out. Thanks.

I actually ran and grabbed..threw out an old text book that has been sitting on the dining room table for donkey’s years..a broken wooden spoon (also on the dining table for some reason) and a set of keys that no one knows WHAT they open (and haven’t known for over ten years!)..off to actually throw out more stuff now. 😀 Thanks Pam!

I just did it. Sprinted through my kitchen, lounge and laundry but I’m not sure if the things I threw out counted. Cos they were just rubbish, like papers. 🙂 Yesterday though I did a cull of one of my wardrobes. That was a good feeling. 🙂

What a good idea as to how to get started! I may have to use it or a variation on my messy office (everywhere else is clean, but the office…not so much). Put away three things every day or every time I go in there. It would be clean in no time!

That is a fabulous way to clean. Thanks

Ohhhh it hurts my heart to think of all those things going into the trash and landfill. I can do the three items which is a great plan but they must go in the donation box unless they are really trash.

I am all for donations but you have to commit to let it go. When people are getting started we just want them to only have to make one decision. Once they get started then they can have 3 boxes. Trash, donate and keep. But I really want to just get them started. Follow me Lisa and you will see what I mean.
